Conceived with inspiration by Metaxas Architects, Aradena delivers to Doncaster a new benchmark for residential design. From the street interface, the building is palpably striking; artfully embracing the unique, sloping site it is poised upon. Asymmetrical in nature, recessed voids and protrusions achieve visual depth, creating a contemporary aesthetic that while bold, is intrinsically tasteful. A subdued material palette is punctuated by black framing to the windows, which are treated with sophisticated reflective glass. Softening Aradena’s modern appearance, green plantings ornament the entrance to the building while harmonising with Doncaster’s naturally rich landscape and the leafiness of Clay Drive.
